10mm spacers do i need longer bolts

ive just got some 10mm and 8mm spacers can i use my original bolts or do i need longer ones?

you can only use standard bolt on 5mm spacer. if you value you life and dnt wont to turn your car into a boat half way down the road with all the wheels coming off i advise you buy the longer bolts! if you add 10mm spacers take a standard bolt measure the thread and add 10mm to it to compensate for the extra distance it needs to cover through the spacer. JOB DONE.LOCK  :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

becareful with 5mm using standard bolts, not much thread left, 3mm tops ive always gone with, 5mm+ should really be hubcentric aswell  :wink:

you only lose a couple of turns of the bolt there plenty running standard bolt with 5mm. lots of people do. i believe wazzzer and wayne and that bunch have all advised it in the past me being one of those people and never had a problem mate :wink:

as said just get longer bolts the extra length of the spacer you have.. 10mm so get 10mm longer etc etc
