i always found 5mm doesnt give much centre bore for the wheel to sit on causing wheel wobble, using hubcentric spacers gives the extra ...

It dosnt give much of a locator for the centre bore to sit on yes but I ran 5mm spacers on the mk4 with Anni wheels for over 15kmiles.

yes the bloody wheel is a pain in the arse to mount on the hub lol

aside from that been running 5mm spacers with standard bolts for about a year now with no problems  :smiley:

interesting, perhaps i'll get my balance checked out then on mine and try 5mm as im on 3mm at the mo and its a bit close to the old strutt!!
