What have been your biggest headaches? :)

Finding a G60 lump is not easy.

another quick update, test fitted everything today to make sure the bumpers, all thats left to do is litttle bit of wirning moun the oil cooler and sort the clutch out, heres a few shots

No not a easy job mate, even more so with robs charge cooler setup, we had to put the battery in the boot to make room for the cooler

Also had to make a custom wiring loom half G60 have golf

Change from rod to cable gear change

Change from cable clutch to hydro clutch

Mix and match engine mounts from both

Flip the rad upside down as the water pipes are on the wrong side

Plus loads of little bits of custom stuff

Finding a G60 lump is not easy.

as said finding a good G60 engine is not easy,  as for the conversion i have lost alot of hair, in no way is it easy, loom were a b!tch, going from a hydraulic clutch from cable took abit of playing with and making the cable gear linkage fit of the corrado fit the golf and getting the chargecooler rad to fit was hard, same with the oil cooler and last was my boost pipe wont fit with the battery in so thats now in the boot

mister rust came to vist and were in the process of buying a house so would have never have had the money to fix it up, so took the heart out :)

Ok so lots of fabricating etc... Damn, do love a g60 whine!
Real good work though lads! One ofthe best on here for sure! Think we need a vid :D the least you can do now you've deprived me of doing one :D should have lied :D
