OK running problems all seem to be sorted; for two weeks now she has run faultless.
I'm even getting around 33MPG if I drive without 'playing'. Drops to around 28MPG if I 'play'.

Been contemplating the purchase of a friends car that I really would like but at £4300 I've decided to put sensible head on and stick with what I have and keep the savings intact. Its an Audi S3 Quattro 225BHP........so tempted :undecided:

Anyway, having made my decision I have, today, got in touch with a chap that will hopefully fix my tailgate dent. He's been recommended by my friend from Wheeler Dealers and has actually done a job for them on the program so fingers crossed my dent isn't so bad that he can't pull it out :undecided:

Sent photographs of the dent and the chap reckons it's too bad to make it look like new but has he agreed to try and do the best he can for me. It won't be perfect but better than it is now so that has got to be an improvement. He's coming round on Wednesday.
In the meantime I'll let my search continue to run for a good tailgate in the right colour on ebay.

I'll post the pics that I sent him so that we can have some before and after pics.

The colour is dusty mauve (LC5P)

Cheers Shaun.

Oh... I see what he means, I have on on my rear quarter like that just on a natural curve and on the drivers door on an OEM crease, very difficult.

Very difficult on a crease like that, hence my being on the lookout for a replacement tailgate.
We'll see how he gets on, it'll set me back around £50 to try and straighten that as much as possible.

Bet you could get another tailgate for near that amount, my rear dent is right next to a 90 degree bend that it's shifted by the rear light.  Not sure what to do with it. Joe managed to catch it perfectly in this shot.
