OK well it hasn't worked out well with a replacement tailgate so far. The one from Bedhampton was the wrong colour and the other one that may be in the right colour is in Manchester and I suspect may need more than just a T cut to remove scratches although I'm still waiting for confirmation on that.

The dent buster guys are coming to have a go tonight at 6pm, whilst I'm at work. I'm leaving it in Hazels capable hands to liaise with them. Gave it a good clean and touched up a few stone chips today so hopefully it will look worth their efforts and my money

Offer still stands if you need it! If you want an example of work, you're welcome to swing by ours (church crookham) and see our camper.

I haven't forgotten this option and it is appreciated, thanks.
It's my next course of action if I'm not happy with the 'dent busters' tonight.

Hazel rang me to say that they have done their 'thing' and in her opinion it's a massive improvement. I'll find out after nightshift tomorrow morning when I get home.

As it was I wasn't happy living with it but if they have managed to improve it then hopefully I'll be happy and can move on to getting the alloys done.......Martyn

Update and no doubt photos to follow tomorrow.............

Got to say, I'm impressed with what they have done. As he said, he wouldn't be able to get it all out but he had a damned good go

That set me back £40 and for me well worth it. A massive improvement that I can live with until a suitable donor tailgate comes along that I can get resprayed by archie837's mate..........I'll let you know when I get hold of a good one to spray up

That looks really good, loads better than I thought it would be. I thought there would be no chance with the bit at the top corner where the crease line is.

Gives me hope for my rear one which is similar.  shame you're not closer, I'd use the same service!
