MY god dont you just love the winter pack at the moment, its absoult bliss in the morning. MY GTD warms up much quicker compared to the Mk5 too. This morning I left the car out over night coverd in Ice, started first time, 5 mins later warm as toast :smug: :smug:

My tyres are great too, oh and the DSG is ace on snow  :smug:

Love the WP and the LP and the MFD and the RNS and the ACC and the ESP and the F&R PS and the PBT and the GTi. :grin:

Hate the WINTER and the BRIDGESTONES. :rolleyes:

With DSG i just turn off the ESP button for the ice & snow works a treat  :cool:

My cars covered in about 8"s of snow at the moment and I don't fancy driving it about in these conditions tbo..... so I've been driving around today in the Mrs Corsa which in all fairness has been excellent in the snow. Maybe I'll join the corsa forum for a couple of months  :smiley:

They do warm up very quickly - do they have an extra electric heater to compliment the standard one - the MK6 GT TDI's I've had don't warm up anything like as quick?

My Mrs freelander 2 had and extra electric one from factory and it too warmed up far faster than seemed right!

Having said that our Disco has a webasto remote pre-heater so the heating is nice and warm when you get in  :wink:
