Ive been offered.... (updated with pics)

.... a very very good condition beetle as part ex for my car.

supposidly its had a 4 grand reconditio professionally (prob not the same as dizzie!  :wink:) and a full respray....

can someone host the pics for me?

Not sure how reliable it will actually be- thats the main reason im getting rid of my beloved golf and so im not sure how reliable this one will be.

If you're selling your cab because it's not reliable enough then firstly it's not a very good advertisement for your cab  :shocked: and secondly getting a beetle is taking a step backwards surely  :undecided: I could well be slated here but older cars are less reliable than newer ones and that's a part of life.  :smiley:

A beetle can be reliable if it is well maintained and has been restored to a high standard.

I ran a beetle for about 2 years, and altho it did break down, it was not unreliable.

Fair enough Paul, but would it be any more reliable than a well maintained mk1 cabriolet, that's the issue here ? :undecided:

Just my opinion but I'd stick with the cab and find out what the reliability issues are, unless the engine's about to seize up then I'd take the beetle  :laugh:

the engine pic is quite clear its been resorted... 4k job is quite alot.... i think it might have had a a new engine...
