Have a search on tyresmoke forum i have read a few years back about such an incident.erm...... ok Cars like the GTI are stolen to order not nicked by random chavs. So yes they are a little more sophisticated, but this also means they dont under any circumstances want to be caught. The few minutes or so it takes them to get in the car and realise it doesnt work would be a few vital minutes lost. I would rather have them come back for a little suprise of mine anyway!
