Worth having a tracker?

Mine is locked up in the garage every night, hopefully out of sight and out of mind! I've got a new garage door on order as well, as the old one is just about knackered. Cost a bit, but worth it in my opinion.

First sign of trouble because of the GTI and I've got to say it will probably go the journey and be traded for something less desirable

REVO is a company that re-maps the ECU as is Superchips/Bluefin, ABT to name a few. The re-map would increase the bhp and torque from your engine and give you better acceleration, more flexibility through the gears and increase the fun factor/excitement with your GTi.

chances are.. if they get into your house to get your keys, they will also ask you for the disklok key 

invisibility is a underestimated tool

Do you not think they will ask for the revo switch. Most these guys are clued up on such things. And if not they will think it has some secret kill switch so drag your ass down to start it while maybe holding your child to make you do such.

High drama. I'd give them the keys etc if it was the child but would not if it was the wife/missus!

This is becoming bizarre but fun!

Now I've got a cunning plan. Quite a few people on my street will be getting Golfs, some GTis. We keep neighbours keys etc. How nice. I'll just give the neighbour's car keys and feign ignorance and make excellent excuses to them later. That is, if they can break through my Titan Steel Doors with 21 bolts!

Cars like the GTI are stolen to order not nicked by random chavs. So yes they are a little more sophisticated, but this also means they dont under any circumstances want to be caught. The few minutes or so it takes them to get in the car and realise it doesnt work would be a few vital minutes lost. I would rather have them come back for a little suprise of mine anyway!
