Boxster S rear calipers

Anyone know if you can use Porsche Boxster S (2003) rear calipers on a mk2 (front)?

Yes BUT you need BIGGER alloys to fit em under... 17's I Think...

even for using rear calipers? 

my boss has a boxster S with paint peeling off the rear calipers... he told me today he was buying a new set purely because the paint was coming off! so i may make an offer on the old set, will be cheap

Yes eaven rears.. they are not that much smaller then the fronts...

If you don't buy 'em I would be interested at the right price!!

Ok i'll let you know, the 280mm setup works fine but it doesnt hurt to have more braking power!

I have a G60 master cylinder, would this be enough for a porsche caliper setup?

according to that thread, you can use certain 15" wheels, so i might be ok. Also they mentioned 280mm discs

Now, how do i go about carriers....? im guessing theyd need fabricating?

i'll get in touch, if the boss's pockets are deep enough for new rear calipers, i'll be having the old ones

Could probably sand-cast them for you if we can make a female mould on the vacuum former. Anything is possible
