I have the Pioneer wx-11a fitted in my Yeti (510-alike headunit).

Got a blaupunkt plug-and-play amp / loom - this amps all the standard speakers plus gives a line out to drive the active sub.

Fitted myself - not one wire needed cutting - sounds a lot better than stock.

Hi am1w, did you get that Pioneer sub fitted to the passenger footwell. Is the difference worth the outlay. Any chance of some pics!  Thanks

Wanted to get it done last Friday, but work got in the way.
Will try again for this Friday and will post comments and pictures.

Unfortunately, cannot have my sub-woofer installed tomorrow as all the units that the Fitters got were faulty. More of these Pioneer units will be in next week, so will have to wait for these patiently.

Heard SteveP's sub-woofer + Dynaudio system yesterday. The sub has transformed the sound quality of the system and it is much more to his and my liking. Now really very good. A very worthwhile upgrade IMO.

Fitted my Pioneer TS-WX11A sub-woofer under the passanger seat today.
Brilliant job by Auto Audio in Park Royal, London.
Delighted with the improvement in sound quality.
It is so well hidden and the angle so difficult, I cannot post a picture unfortunately.
A worthwhile upgrade IMO.

Once I learn some serious gymnastics, I will attempt to take a picture. Sorry for now.
The sub-woofer installation has improved the mid and treble clarity no end. I've had to turn down the mid and treble. There is now so much clarity in the lower bass and upper bass. There is also a worthwhile increase in overall detail. Love it.
