It has been like this from new and until now I did not think of mentioning it.
I find it quite unsightly.
The whole area of the plastic seems a bit deformed, as if they have applied too much force to screw-in the number plate.
Any one else with this problem?

I've seen a Golf TDi which has a smaller numberplate area and it seems fine.

Screw in the number plate  :shocked: :shocked:

Mine is on with double sided sticky foam..

Just been out to check mine, perfectly flat! I take it you mean the painted area that the number plate/holder fixes on top of?

Yes, that's it. Mine is very wavy, as if too much force has been applied to fix the number plate. :angry:
