Apart from Neil, it seems most Revo'd cars have a throttle response problem.
So I cannot understand why Revo so popular.

Because everyone reccomends it, and everyones an expert, it spreds like chinese wispers  and they have their internet fan base  You often find this sort of thing happening with products. Its even worse in audio sadly.

....always dangerous an internet publication....I mean If they do a 1000 GTI's and 10 have a problem and those 10 negative together with another 10 positive post there meaning.....where do you stand reading the info...in other words do they deliver a bad product.....
Throttle response might mean more than failure....is it not that they have to take torque on the DSG into account...

I would open up a specific Revo topic and give Revo users bad or good a chance to post ..if you really want to have a sort of poll...

(Off topic) The point its in human nature to not admit you made a mistake. What ever you buy is always the best . You will find most things like this, most people don't talk about any slight issues. You see it all the time, mainly as they don't want to go against the masses or think independantly.

Maybe a poll of Abt vs REVO vs Bluefin vs can't think of them all. You know what I mean.
We all probably know, deep down inside, Abt is probably the best.

But again due to the human way thinking, people will just vote for what they bought.

{OT} Which reminds me Mk6 people should be voting on this thread http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=161069.0

But is it also not human nature to tell people of the hassle you have had with a product / company rather than the good news?
Nobody is interested in good news hence there is no momentum in it.

I think one of the problems is that once people buy a map they are unlikely to get a different map. Therefore they can't make the comparison that is required.

I think all that matters is the owner is happy.
