Look forward to hearing how the APR os compared to the Revo Neil. Any chance they can give you a blast with APR before you go stage 2?

Mine stutter at full throttle is starting to get alot worse...  :undecided:

I am in Birmingham in a couple of weeks so may book in to go see topher and get her on the RR and looked at... I want to get to the bottom of this!

Yes Gilly they will let you try the out the APR first,
but by the time they fit the zorst and carbonio stage 2 i don't think that you will be able to compare maps

Gonna get all done together and see how it performs and if time stick it on the rollers

No throttle issues with mine  must be a Candy white thing

If the throttle issue is between 1500rpm and 3000rpm then it's down to the Revo map.

They haven't got this ironed out yet on the Mk6 TSI, and on stage 2 (or stage 1 with hardware mods) it's much much worse. It basically a boost control issue where as soon as the car overboosts the ECU cuts the throttle, meaning you get a stuttering or hesitation type effect. If your car is dyno'ed you will see this as lots of spikes in the graph upto 3k rpm then it all smooths out.

I went out in an APR stage 1 car last weekend (after the owner got a refund from Revo due to the boost control issue)and the difference was night and day. After talking to him again after it had time to adapt he's a very happy man.

Steve I had APR, Milltek etc on my Mk5 and it was great, thats why I'm going for it on the Mk6, had no issues with the Revo but i think the APR will be a lot smoother and pull longer ?
Got a Call from Awesome to say that my Milly with black tips will be ready next week  hows yours sounding now its getting coked up a bit

It settled down very well, has a nice deep sound without being too loud and without a doubt makes the car much more responsive.

Cold starts and private runway cruising at 95+ give a little drone but nothing that bothers me

Cheers Steve.. although mine seems to be an issue on full boost between 3000rpm - 5000rpm. Will be getting it looked at in a couple of weeks.

jdjd... I look forward to hear what VW have to say about the issue and if there is a known fault.

If this continues I will be looking to APR to see how it compares

Would be great to see some graphs Neil
