You did ask for it

Can we agree that a GTD with Revo would be fairly similar to a standard GTI?

Never heard anything so comical in all my days, a remapped GTD, f**k sake for the price difference from a GTD to a GTI, why didnt you just buy a GTI ?

I bought a GTD because I wanted a GTD. If I had wanted a GTI, I would have ordered a GTI.

I like diesel cars - is that so bad?

Why is it comical for people to buy a GTD and get it remapped? If someone buys a GTI and gets it remapped they aren't slagged?!

Well, becuase your buying the GTI's b!tch, the GTD. It's the wannabe GTI owner's choice, its the smogheads choice and its far slower choice to own. It's comical to remap a GTD when really you should have just bought a GTI. There wont be much difference when it comes to speed and there wont be much change. I find it really comical because..... well, go hijack a truck, take it straight to revo and remap it, then try and drive that remapped tank around the streets fast. The clue is in the word tank.

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

It terms of speed yes probably. But thats all, your handling will be worse with that extra power.

Why did I open this can of worms again?

My car is a company car so instantly the GTD is a better option.

I don't do big miles but I chose the GTD because of the drivability and torque.

Can I ask why people are bumming revo on this forum. There maps are f**kin wasteman they dont fkin work like they should.   It seems like every1 on here gets occasional power loss. Yet Revo know this and keep selling the map. Jokers IMO

This is the kind of thing I need to hear. What other options for remaps are there?

I dont see what all the hate about the GTD is from. Its a Diesel what do you expect supercar performence? In a Race over 500 miles I bet the GTD would make it there 1st Standard vs Standard. GTD would romp past whilst u were still in the petrol station haha.

Im starting to hate my GTI, If its not some nagging girl sat next to me so moaning like f**k about high speed driving around junction 27 its revo's shocking map cutting all my power away. Where is the fun to be had?

You are aware the GTD requires more torques to move the thing ? to base your buy on torque on a diesel is even funnier than revo'ing a GTD. Without the torque you have on there, the heavy bastard wouldnt move.
