how are going to know without taking the pan off and at least checking the mains bearings as well as the rods, pulling the crank and rods out isn't exactly a time consuming or difficult task
if you want a long lasting replacement pull it all apart, check the crank, freshen the bores, new rings, new bearings and new stem seals
on the outside it *looks* like its just had the usual leaky rocker cover gasket but you can't know, surely teh effort of stripping and checking is worth it, better than installing it blind and finding out its rogered cos I'm pretty sure thats more effort
