Dpf are one most diesels.

I have a 56 plate fr seat and has dpf.

Been looking at getting a dpf delete but its rather pricey.

As for the whole diesel hatred thing each person like what they like. For me diesel is the only option right now unless i am lucky enough to get a closer job.

I prefar my 50mpg to 25mpg thats one good thing about the diesels lol
Diesel power all the way

As i said it depends how you use the car if you just potter about like an old women and use it for very short trips to the local shops etc or in city then they maybe an issue. VW and audi have said as much in one of the magazine replies as a customer asked about it on one of the many Uk islands that have a blanket 40mph speed limit. If you give it a blast every so often thats a different matter.

Just done a search to try and find a link that explains DPF abit better.

Bland is waaaay too harsh a word.

The GTDs are lovely looking motors imo. However the dual exhaust on opposite side of the GTI really make it stand out from the rear compared to the rest of the Golf range i.e GTD.

However, if you are a lazy bugger, the exhausts close together require less movement when their exit nozzles need cleaning.
