Alpine IDA-X311RR

Does anyone have one of these, that can vouch if it's any good or not? If the USB port is on the rear, is it a pain in the arse to get to?

I have the X-305. Its quite the same.

The USB is on the rear but it comes with a USB fly lead, extends it a good few foot or so.

I had the uprated version of this in my last gti, usb comes out of the back (built in), had an extension usb 2 usb lead, and come with a ipod piece. Awesome bit of kit for the price IMO especially if your and iphone freak like me... or ipod

Cheers for the feedback - I'd be plugging an ipod or memory stick in. Is it not a pain in the arse finding somewhere to route the cable then? Either that or keep pulling the headunit out

Na easy to route the cable to your glovebox or something.

Awesome, it'll be in the mk2 so should be a few holes to put the cable through
