Alpine IDA-X311RR

Does anyone have one of these, that can vouch if it's any good or not? If the USB port is on the rear, is it a pain in the arse to get to?

I have the X-305. Its quite the same.

The USB is on the rear but it comes with a USB fly lead, extends it a good few foot or so.

I had the uprated version of this in my last gti, usb comes out of the back (built in), had an extension usb 2 usb lead, and come with a ipod piece. Awesome bit of kit for the price IMO especially if your and iphone freak like me... or ipod

Cheers for the feedback - I'd be plugging an ipod or memory stick in. Is it not a pain in the arse finding somewhere to route the cable then? Either that or keep pulling the headunit out  :undecided:

It looks awesome though

Awesome, it'll be in the mk2 so should be a few holes to put the cable through

Think I'm sold on it, cheers for the heads up
