ideally i need a usb input a decent hands free such as built in parrot  and a sat nav syatem built in... at the moment am still fully reasearchiing into this as i also want to be able to get longwave radio so i can listen to cricket test match special.... sad i know but u know.

i was just wonderign what your opinions on this system are and if theres any pics of it installed in a mk4 cheers.

they are very good units but the start up time is very slow and sometimes it can take a while to read a memory stick
from a personal experience i find customers would rather have an equivelant kenwood like the current DNX-5260BT

whats a high and low pass filters?

at the mo i have the pioneer 80bt headunit, i think it has 3 outputs... ave got a sub runnign and the front speakers are runnign on sep channels

Kenwood DNX-5260BT Audio features:

    * Max. Output Power (MOSFET Power IC) 4 x 50W
    * Pre-out 3RCA: Front/Rear/Subwoofer
    * Pre-out Output Level 2V
    * Auxiliary Input AV Front Input with optional CA-C3AV
    * Rear / Subwoofer Switchable
    * Subwoofer Reference Level Adj.
    * Dual Zone Source & Volume Control
    * Dual Zone (FRONT / REAR Switchable)
    * Source Tone Control & Memory Bass / Mid / Treble
    * Balance/Fader Control
    * Loudness Control
    * Att.(-20dB) with smooth Volume Return
    * System QEX (Preset & Manual Sound Control)
    * System E's+ (Built-in HPF & LPF)
    * Beep On/Off

the pioneer 80bt the one i cuurently use has this
Connectivity

    * Aux-in (Rear)
    * iPod Direct Control
    * USB Input
    * IP Bus
    * 3 RCA Preout (F+R+S/W or NON-FAD)
    * Sub-display Output
    * Hard-wired Remote Input
    * Direct Sub Drive
    * 4V High Voltage Output
    * Full Control Expansion Units - Multi-CD, TV, Multi-DVD, iPod
    * Partial Control Expansion Units - DAB

what is the difference between the 4v high voltage output (pioneer 80bt) and the 2v output that the kenwood has?

high and low pass filters means crossovers
just remembered the 5260bt had three i was thinking of the older model
the only difference between having 4v pre outs rather than 2v means when running off amps the 4v signal from the h/u just means the gain on the amp would not need to be set as high as a 2 volt preout
so in essence if you got the kenwood you may need to turn your gains up slightly on the amps to match the output of the previous pioneer unit
