Clutch/Gearbox issue GTD Manual

Just been over your mate chisick , drop my mrs off in greenford!! 

TOTAL HIJACK THIS TIME!
Was booked in to VW Chiswick this am. Cancelled it as their Master Tec was not on this Saturday.
Want them to fit  my Ed30 knob (hope Darren might do it this pm), clonking armrest, ticking speedo/rev binnicle.
Car is now really filthy on the outside. Looks quite butch I must admit!
Going to work now.

Can I ask why you didn't get the DSG?

Because I presume he's not an invalid. 

I didnt like the way the DSG drove.  I don't think DSG suits a diesel really.

Abosult Boll**** that it is , dsg is an awsome package suiets the car really well!! Thats why your haveing problems with your gear box mate. I did tell you to get rid of it at 300miles on the clock, you should have knock the car back then?? Your talking out of your chad mate!!

Unfortunatly VW dont consider my issue a fault so knocking it back is considerable hard.  Still complaining mind, awaiting feedback on the second letter.

I wasnt saying DSG was pap, it just wan't for me, have never been a fan of Auto's.  I did test drive both and prefered the manual.

Question is what car would you get in place of the GTD if you had to decide again and don't say BMW 1 series as they look poop?

Mk6 GTI all the way or Ed35 coming soon!!

The cabin in them is drab unless you go for high end modle's (m5)

You know deep down that VW are not going to uphold your complaint however unfair it seems to you. I would find the noise you have to contend with unacceptable but VW would say that this is within 'normal' tolerance.
May I suggest you try some Boron Silk in your gearbox to possibly quieten it. I must admit that there has been a significant and positive effect on mine. You have nothing to lose now as they are not going to strip or change the gearbox.

Had the second phone call in response to the second letter I wrote, it basically went like this:

VW call centre lady: P**S OFF

Not impressed, gonna phone dealer tomorrow to see what price he will give me for a buy back. 

If thats not good enough then the third letter will be to the head office and requesting a formal rejection and I will go from there.
