Thank you for your explaination for which I am most grateful.
I bend to your greater knowledge and my apologies if you felt I was being sarcastic.
I think I might have been a bit grumpy when I wrote that  :embarassed: - you have no need to apologise but thanks for the smiley.
Mac7 , what oil would you recomend for the GTD mate? I read your thread on oil's very good thanks steve:cool:
Motul Specific 504 00/507 00. Great stuff, VW approved - important as you have a particulate filter.

That's the oil I used for the oil change at 1400 miles. Super stuff.

A couple of days after I had mine I noticed if your lightly rest you foot on the clutch pedal it pulsates back and forth.
A funny thing happened today. It was a slow journey home because of the M6 being closed because of an accident. Anyway I was crawling in the traffic stop start stop start. I noticed the vibration had changed. There was no vibration while resting my foot on the pedal it started when you pushed the pedal down a couple of inches and finished near the bottom of travel.

Edit: no its still the same this morning.

Thats what the dealer says so it should happen on all engines not just some. I said to the tech the demo car doesn't do it but mine does. Well it should but I don't know why it doesn't.

Well Steve its going to be easier to post my question from another forum.

Clutch pedal pulsating/vibrating

The other day I was crawling in the traffic stop start stop start. I noticed the vibration had changed. There was no vibration while resting my foot on the pedal it started when you pushed the pedal down a couple of inches and finished near the bottom of travel.

This morning its back to normal.
