feed inside to edge of headlining, just on the inside edge of the lining, down the a-pillar and behind the dash to the headunit.

Thats a fairly long way down, the wire would start to have a mind of its own and would wonder off ? Maybe attach the end of the wire to something more ridgid and feed it down that way ?

Routing down to the stereo is easy. But getting the microphone into the light console seems impossible...

Does the fiscon instructions not help ?

I used an old wire coat hanger as a `fishing line`, just unravelled it all and bent the end over to hold the wire. if you`re carefull the front edge of the headliner will pull down a little with your fingertips, then down the A piller and I just took mine through the fuse box and accross to the headunit - using the fishing line there too.

Hope that helps....

Nope, because they don't really recommend installing the microphone in this place.

So are you saying you have the microphone actually inside the light console?

I did it in my MK5 into the overhead light, and I'll do it in my MK6 in a couple of weeks (hopefully!!)
I'll take some pics and do a 'How to fit and code a fiscon kit' and 'how to fit and code an RNS510' guide!

I thought I had. No, they don't help, because Fiscon don't recommend doing it (therefore, they don't tell you how to do it in detail).
