temp gauge on agu

what should the temp gauge be on an agu once warm?

mine only ever seems to hit dead on 90 degress once been run and sat in traffic for a few mins, when im driving it it seems to be between 80-85 degrees, never on 90?

Should sit dead on 90 as soon as its up to temp.

thnaks guys jsut got a cheap fault code reader so will get it fault read and grab a thermostat. i work in a morotfactors so it will work out next to nothing anyway :)

as has been said replace your thermostat and also maybe worth replacing the coolant temp sender (cts) at the same time as its cheap enough and is literally a 5min job if that  :wink:

changed myne and the temp sensor and its sorted it, stays on 90 now when i drive about.

used to drop off when driving, but not anymore! :)

Are these cheap from the dealer?..mines an AGU an has just started doin the same thing,keeps droppin to halfway between cold and 90 deg when i go on the expressway.
