So you reccomend the splitters mate?

I need one, had a JOM one and another one that the car got parked on and held up but eventually both shattered.

My car is pretty low at times, recon it will hold up?

Looking good though, really love red cars with owners like you.

Where all my moneys went.

Golf MK3 1.6. Golf MK3 8v GTI.

No worries mate, cheers anyway :afro:

Haha, well it was pretty well clipped on and my car spent a day parked in Doncaster so i'm guessing it was nicked. There is always the possibility that it fell off though :undecided:

The new splitter seems to be holding up pretty well, I drove it onto a 4 pillar lift this morning and it took a massive whack and survived. The test will be the route to work

In other news, a full service today including cambelt & tensioners, all fluids and filters. Also a new dipstick guide as mine has been broken since I got the car and a new grit/splash shield for the rear offside brake disc as mine had corroded and fallen off

It's really for the RR day next weekend

Also with my new job comes more money. More money means a new car

The plan for the wheels is to refurb the solitudes with a polished lip and run them through the summer and use the current VR6 BBS through the winter

I thought the solitudes would be easier to clean, but if you prefer the look of the solitudes I guess that's the sensible option!

We'll see, the ones i'm running at the moment are a b!tch to clean but i'll just coat them in so much sealant that most of the dirt should be able to be blasted off them with a pressure washer
