Very nice work. Ive used G3 cutting compound on a rotary machine buffer. Came out looking original red. Worth a look

Most detailers use duel action buffers FYI

Right, just got a few pics of the respray now that it's cut back and polished up, i'm more than happy with it

This side was the one that had to be rebuilt at the bottom of the wing:

This side had 3 big rust spots across the length of the car:

And a couple of shots to show how it matches the rest of the paintwork:

I've got some silver dials and blue LED's on the way so hopefully i'll get them sorted next week

(And i'm almost ashamed at how high it's riding :embarassed: Really need to get some coilovers sorted)

Cheers for the comments guys :afro: I am really chuffed with the result, really satisfying putting time and effort into something like that and seeing the result

Yeah coilovers will be the next proper mod I think, I wanted to wait and get a decent set, but i'm still trying to solve the 5000rpm prob. Looks like a new dizzy is on the cards, if that fails to sort it then a camshaft sensor. Neither of those are particularly cheap. So i'm thinking about a cheap set, probably Jamex for the meantime. But hey! at least it'll be low

As for a drop i'm thinking 60/40 and see how that goes. Theres a lot of crap roads around me, plus my drive is on an angle so much lower than that could cause me some probs, but we'll see
