Ok, so 2 coats of primer, 5 coats of colour and a lot of sanding later here is the result!
I'm pretty happy with it, the pictures don't do it justice really due to a crappy camera. The paintwork all looks slightly pink, but I can assure you it's not! The colour match is very good, the new paint is slightly matt....which leads me onto....my only dilema now is how to finish it

Theres a slight 'orange peel' effect due to using a rattle can. I've got some lacquer for it, the instructions say to sand the top coat down to a matt finish and then lacquer, a mate told me not to bother sanding it down though??

Or do I not lacquer it, wait a couple of weeks and using a cutting compound on it?! Or, lacquer it and then use cutting compound??! Really don't know what to do!! Any advice appreciated!!
Obviously all of the above options will be finished with a good wax and polish!
(also thought i'd get my dad's morris minor in a shot!)

Finally tomorrow's task!!
