Just came back from garage, bad news. turbo seals are gone 

I recently did KO3S upgrade in end of january and now its gone. Luckily I kept KO3 which we are going to fit now. Is it alright to run KO3 on custom remap which was initially done for ko3s. Also can ko3s seals can be replaced so i can use it again or i'm better off looking for it again

Ouch!! 

If you were going fro a KO3 to a KO3s I'd say you'd be ok but the KO3s flows more air and will have higher demands so running a KO3s map on a KO3 would NOT be a good idea IMO

Give Nick @ R-Tech a ring for his advice to be 100% sure

Turbosdynamics do a  rebuild which includes seals etc... for £195, I discussed alot of options in terms of rebuild here:

Best bet is give turbo dynamics a call. As for ko3s map on ko3, I'd imagine the extra strain won't be any good, but i'm no expert....

thats what i'm doing but number is busy atm, can you tell if seals can be repaired/replaced or its not good idea??

did you emit a huge plume of white smoke when this happened as thats normally a sign that the turbo has let go 

Also if you're swapping back you'll most likely need the exhaust and intercooler cleaned out as the oil has to go somewhere..........

Just spoke to Chris @ R-Tech, running ko3 on ko3s is fine if i don't boot the car everywhere.

No white smoke or anything, what i'll do is drive to R-Tech as soon as I can get some time off from work and get the map sorted for ko3 and get second opinion about ko3s seals. Also sump was absolutely fine. Any other reason for oil leakage?? Oil is not leaking massively from seals, its like drop after drop of oil

How does the garage know the seals are gone? As the turbo seals are not 100% tight so oil will still seep through them, also using thinner oils will cause more penetration through the seal, which can cause a small amount ouf oil to build up by the IC which is natural. Best way to see if turbo is really gone is by monitoring your engine oil, as oil consumption will be high.

The seals can easily be replaced regardless in what state they are in, but when you get a rebuild done they do multiple things to the turbo and not just the seals.

Ah cool at least thats one less issue.

Strange you had absolutely no warning signs of it going though    thats one bit I cannot understand.

How did it drive up until that point?  Did you still have full power?

Yeah mate, no power loss. I was on my way back from work and it gave this warning "Oil Press - Stop Motor" so I pulled over and turned the engine off. Checked oil strip, and oil level was little low than normal. Looked under the car and couldn't see any oil dripping. Started car after 15 minutes and drove home - I was only 1 mile away from home, didn't started car all day yesterday and checked oil strip again in afternoon and it was completely dry  It rained all day yesterday so couldn't see oil under the car. Topped the oil again today in morning and started car to check, no smoke or no noise. Took my car to garage which is like 2-3 miles from my house, put car on ramp to see whats happening. I was expecting it might be sump but that was ok and then they gave me bad news about turbo
