ibiza with 280mm uses G60 pads, 256 uses 16v pads

so tell me if i have this rite, i have a 1990 16v with 256 disks on it, if i want to go to 280all i need is the calliper carriers and to make sure i get the 16mm pads, is that rite??

i had to take 3mm off each slide bolt to allow calliper to fit

ive found a set of vr6 calipers and carriers on ebay but they say there 288, will these fit standard mk2 16v hubs and are 4 stud disks available for these?
?

FM those carrier bolks were an absolute swine to get out.
Ended up having to heat them out.
Who's bright idea was it to put hex bolts on rear carriers!?

Great info from the man once again. Badly need to update my brakes.
Also worth taking the 15'' space saver spare wheel to fit over the brakes. I got mine out of a corrado g60. Not sure if seat's have space savers though.

well really if you get a front flat you shjould put space saver on the back and put good rear wheel on the front, dont want a space saver on the front if you can help it!
