The downpipe and sports cat will transform your car yet again, in theory you can hold the peak load for around another 750rpm+  without the worry of too much heat build up.

Nick

Does this mean when I come up for the summer forum fest you can play with my map in exchange for some man love Nick? Since you mapped her shes had a 3' downpipe and Milly.

If you like the feel of the torque you have now you can afford to to hold it longer upto 3700+rpm.

I like smooth board torque bands, IMO you would also get a good result by loosing 30lbft of the peak and aiming for another 20lbft over at least another 2000rpm of the rpm range. The car would be much quicker.

Do you have any logs of you load request during a WOT run?

Nick

No i dont nick, unfortunatly when i had some logs done, i soon discovered Superchips had actually sent me the wrong map, manual instead of dsg version. My Logger person is away currently at sea for a few months so havent had chance to re-run it with the correct map.

Oh and just to update you nick, Superchips have ammended my map, so i havent got such a high torque curve as it was back then.
Saturday hopefully should reveal a better result with the addition of my downpipe.

This is another graph taking from my car just 1 week proir to the one you kindly showed .

Sorry if this has gone off tangent from R-techs thread.

Thats a good thing about self tuning tools and a good tuner, you have have map tweaks via email without the need of going back to a tuner.

You know where we are m8.. you welcome up any time, It would be nice spending a few hours on dyno with a TFSI doing custom spec2 tuning.
