£500 for map
£175 for switch

Ive got the switch so I can change it back to standard in the event of an accident. Or warrenty claim. And I doubt ill ever got a problem with the dealers anyway im on very good terms with them, Bought 6 new vw's from them in past 5year.

Bottom line Remapped GTI will leave a standard GTI standing. Thats my take on it. Hopefully ill pull alongside something abit more exotic, leave that and it'll be worth every dam penny.

I paid 475 for mine, and got the switch free

If I was told tomorrow that my GTI could not be remapped it would be in the 'for sale' section of the local rag the same day. I dare anyone to try a remapped gti and not enjoy it. Too many people focus on bhp figures and not enough on the experience of driving one.

The low down grunt is what you pay your money for... and many fail to notice the improved economy

Im sure I could find out for you if you wanted. the gent there has lots of experience working with VAG engines and seemed to know his stuff. tbh I need to pop back to get my setting adjusted, so let me know if you want to go up and have a try of mine (passenger seat only tho )

I owned my Mk6 GTI for a total of 46 hours before taking a trip to Revo

After having a Stage 2+ Mk5 GTI Edition 30 as my previous car the Mk6 seriously needed a sprinkling of Revo magic and it did not disappointed.

The power delivery is very similar to OEM and but just much much stronger, I would highly recommend it

Your fuel consumption?

Difficult to compare as I didn't have the car very long, but based on previous experience if driving normally it will be a couple of MPG better

^^^ Yes better with Revo when driving normally, but with the remapped car you will be more inclined to enjoy the new found power
