i you decide to go the vr6 transplant route here is an rough idea of whats involved regarding the 8v
hydraulic clutch as 8v is cable
gear linkage as its cable on vr6 and rod on 8v
imobiliser issues too
you will need the vr6 key and ignition locks door locks too

just use the vr6 transponder reciever, ignition ring and swap the chips inside the keys
ie put the chip from the vr6 key into your 8v key
this way you keep the 8v ignition barrel, door locks etc
Thats is how i do it!
wiring is fun, the vr6 relays are located differently
thats the basics i think
but dont forget you may need your brakes uprated to vr6 too to do it proper
and the vr6 is heavier than the 8v so suspension can also become an issue
if ive missed anything im sure someone will point it out
