Are you sure the light switch is in off 0?

Yes mate.. the neighbour across the road must be thinking I'm trying to land a jumbo jet with the amount of flashing lights coming from the drive evertime I have a go

what do we reckon about running in period? 500 miles at less than 3000 revs?

I know there are various threads on running in periods on here.. I crept upto 4000 once but have been keeping it under 3000 generally myself so far..I intend to vary it more after 500 miles and then drive it with more welly after 1000

I know i had this wrote down somewere but cannot find it.  :embarassed: Theres a version to swtch them on too.
Try putting it so that the main beam is on rather than flash and see what that does. I think it may beep too, :undecided:
I wish i could find it.

EDITDRLs can be activated/deactivated by using the headlamp lever.

Ignition off. Lights to 'O'. Left turn on indicator (down) while pulling back (flash mainbeam), switch on ignition, hold for 4 seconds or so and you should here a beep. The DRLs are now off.

To reactivate is similar but you use Right turn on indicator (up) instead.

I've tried both ways, Snoopy but am b&ggered if I can switch them off.. Must be me though because I haven't heard of anyone else who's had a problem. Well if you ever do find the intructions, that'd be most appreciated, mate
