Ended up a Pemberton Tyres yesterday to have the Tracking done on the car, it was well needed as the tracking was miles out and was shredding the tyres

Well here we go 2014 and lots of great things to follow this year

First off my car went into Awsome GTI a few weeks ago and I've had the gear box taken out had it totally refurbished, then had the Quaife ATB LSD fitted and the Spec Stage 3+ clutch and flywheel fitted nicely into place  there was a few teething issue's where the balance weight on the clutch plate was catching the bell housing inside the gear box, so out come the gearbox again  :undecided: MORE LABOUR COSTS !!! shaved 2mm of the balance weight put it all back together AGAIN lol and everything was perfect

You can see in the pics where it was catching [/URL[/URL[/URL

I spoke to Jeremy who now works for Spec Clutches he used to be Head Technician at APR Tuning in the USA and he said there must have been a casting defect around the bell housing in the gear box, but its all running like a dream now, only bad thing is I've got to do 500 around town miles in the car to bed the new clutch, flywheel and LSD in, so haven't really open her up yet lol  but i want to run everything in properly, so theres no further issues's that will eat into my wallet

Well heres the new 18" R32 wheels all fully refurbished and fit perfectly having the ET35 now, so I've put 15mm spacers and the rear and 10mm spacer on the front, I've only got a few pics up to now, will add more soon, but i think they look awsome with the Porsche callipers behind them [/URL[/URL

It took me ages to find some 55mm 'R' centre caps  but they do look far nicer that the standard Vw ones

Sorry about the crappy pics, ill take some better ones soon lol

Hi there Gary, thanks for taking an interest in my build thread

The cupra r fuel pump took less than 10 mins to fit, one of the easiest mods I've done, lift up the rear seats and the car carpet, undo the black plastic collar holding the pump in, disconnect the fuel lines, you need to pinch the ends of the lines in think to remove them, all id recommend is to get a new rubber gasket for the pump and  disconnect the battery due to the wiring loom going to it, don't wana blow you and the car up lol

As far as the saab red injectors they were on the car when i bought it, but it was Ben Parson of Parsons performance who built the engine at the time, but they work a treat, there highly recommended by the R Tech lads, who do all my mapping on the car

What this space, theres a Hybrid WaterMeth Kit being fitted over the next few weeks, and then trip to see Nic at R Tech to have a stage 2 map done to finish things of nicely
