Thought id just give everyone a sneaky peak at what I've just purchased for a very nice price ( cheap )

I will be running the car as it is for this summer, and then fit this mega engine !!!

It's a Fully Forged 1.8t AGU engine that has been bored out to a 2.1L using only the best parts available, please see the list of parts on the receipts in the pictures

JE forged piston set 83mm bore, 95.5mm stroke 9:5:1CR
I Engineering 144x20mm forged rods ( RIFLE DRILLED )
JE wrist pin set
Fliudampr Crank Pully Set
ARP Crank Dampener Bolt ( IE EXCLUSIVE )

Im now at the stage where I need to buy the injectors, turbo, manifold, uprated fuel pump etc

The engine is good for massive power 700-800bhp... but I'm looking to push a nice 550bhp without watermeth and 600bhp with the watermeth active

Thinking of running a GT3582r turbo and TSR manifold but I'm looking for any decent info / knowledge that any one can pass on to me, that will help me continue this engine build

R32 XENON JOEY MOD HEADLIGHT CONVERSION

Well here's my R32 Joey Mod headlight conversion, big thanks to my good friend Adam who's helped me from start to finish, with me only being able to use the left hand at the moment

Glass lenses were removed carefully with a heat gun, and lights were masked up and ready to be strayed with heat resistant paint, I've ordered new lenses with will arrive soon, but I'm really pleased with how they've turned out, plus strayed the plastic surrounds to match

Well heres how they look once sprayed in matt black, wasn't to sure about gloss black

the outer surrounds have been done to match too :undecided, just waiting for the new glass lenses to arrive now, bonded in and get them fitted on to the car, will add pics once done !!!

Well its been a while since I've done an update, but my hands on the mend since the operation and were back in business

The R32 Joey Mods are finally finished, with new lenses and headlight protectors and are now fitted to the car, I'm really happy with how they've turned out.....

The WhiteLine rear ARB is a must have for perfecting the handling of your Mk4, the car feels so much smoother and handles beautifully round corners now !!! A really good piece of kit.... and looks the part too

Well it's nearly time for GTI Spring Festival 2014

All the AEM Gauges and Wideband have been fully installed and working a treat, plus the new Forge Actuator has been fitted nicely into place...

the car had to have a new remap due to it over boosting and spiking !!!

AEM Gauges that were fitted :-

AEM EGT Gauge
AEM Oil Temp
AEM Full WideBand / Data Logger ( nice bit of kit ) !!!!

There was a Aquamist DDS3 Fail Safe unit / gauge installed to work with the Watermeth

Since to Actuator and the remap was done on friday were now running 1.6bar / 24psi with ease and apparently theres still room to push it a little bit more but I'm going to wait until the Watermeth is fully up and running and look at doing a switchable map on the car, were going to have to tweak / modify the ECU to allow the 2 way switchable map

I even had the Twin pillar gauge mount flocked to match the dash

Well id totally forgot id borrowed my mates 10mm front wheel spacers last year and he finally asked for them back so I've purchased and new set of Forge 11mm spacers for the front, and got them nicely fitted to the car today, they look nice with the Forge engraving on the sides

Well after an exciting weekend at Santa Pod Spring Fest 2014 and shredded the tyres to pieces !!! I thought it was about time to invest in some road legal track tyres

so after some deliberation I've gone for a full set of Federal RSR 595's front and rear...... You've gotta get onto these tyres there EPIC !!! Ive used various types of tyres over the years and these have been the best so far by a long way
