Hi there all, i did this amazing conversion last week but forgot to add to add it to the build thread, but i think you'll all be impressed with what ive done, i want to get rid of the horrible car battery out of the engine bay and put it else where, the original battery was far to big and clumpy so ive bought a Odessey PC680 which is much smaller and compact, compact enough to fit into where the passenger air bag used to be, so out came the air bag, and i then made some brackets so the battery could sit nicely in there.

The only down side to all this is having to reroute all the battery wiring from the engine bay to behind the glove box, it took me a full day to do this but was well worth the hard work in the end

Big thanks to all that helped me plus nice one Si for running back to his Porsche development company to get me some well needed earthing cable

It fits like a glove

No more horrible battery's in the engine bay

Here's a nice little mod for you, not very expensive from your local audi dealer, this covers and protects the cables that go to each injector had to slightly modify it to fit but im really pleased with final product

Oh and here's the part number for it 06J 971 824 B the guy at Audi couldn't find it, so quote this part number and you'll soon have your new cover

What do we have here lol looking like a pair of huge Porsche 996 callipers  which were given to me by a good friend of mine, mention no names lol but im going to fully refurbish them too, so there gonna look pretty sick once on the car

Here's the full service kit, new bleed screws and caps plus the adaptor plates to allow the callipers to fit my R32 platform set up, oh and the high temp Porsche decals

Its been a while since i last did something different to the car, but i picked up my newly flocked dash yesterday been waiting for it to be done over the past week but it was well worth the wait  so ive spent the day taking out the old dash and putting the flocked one into place, thought it was going to be a bit of a nightmare to replace, but wasn't to bigger job in the end.

Gotta say it looks the dogs doodars now fitted

I'm off to meet up with the legendary Dave Brown who's a genius at setting up Porsche brakes onto any car, I'm picking up some custom OE R32 disc's of him, which have had the 'J' hook design machined onto them, im also having the aluminium centres polished, ill add some pics of that once polished up
These are going to look epic with the Porsche 996 callipers fitted to them

Well my US spec centre console turned up today
Then i fitted it nicely into place, but had to modify the handbrake bracket slightly, this is because they were made for a left hand drive car so the hand brake needs to move slightly to the left to allow it to fit into the new console
