I didn't even look at the post that closely since it was done today, but that seems to be the case...  :embarassed:

I prefer the R ones myself.

This is the module that re-codes the system from Kufatec http://www.kufatec.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p1603_Diagnostic-Interface-LED-rear-lights-VW-Golf-6-VI.html

I'd be keen to see someone in the UK do the full swap over with no problems, before I'm in. Sorry

Dave

The R LED's are now on backorder with VW's supplier, latest update is these are due from them around mid Feb, as soon as they are available I will be installing a set and coding via VCDS (not the Kufatec adapter).

I have also got a price via a trade account for group buy (min 3 sets) and it would work out around £375 delivered including the adapters

Well they had better call it the mk7 or there will be hell to pay

I heard they were going to call it the 5.75, in April they're changing the dust caps and it will then be called the 5.80.

It came standard with the car.. I'm not sure if they are lighter than the R lights as I have nothing to compare it to (No Golf R available here yet)

Looks good though, not too dark on a black car.  Any darker and the lights might get lost.

agree with you there.. I was mildly surprised when I saw the car in the showroom for the first time as I was not expecting the LED lights to be fitted.  I liked the Mk6 GTI but thought it was let down by the touareg rear lights.  The LEDs just make the Mk6 look so much better.
