With the R LED's being darker, is it the light itself thats darker or the plastic housing ? I wouldnt want it to be darker than say the spoiler break light.

On the Kufetc site they have a programme module, which I think makes no error code apper on the MFD?

We should get a group buy going.

We definately should, Id be in. I like the sounds of that 400 euro + vat deal posted a previous post. Then the group buy discount on top would be very appealing.

The coding is very simple based on snoppy's post so as long as someone is near you with the VCDS cable then you can save the money you would spend on the Kufatec module.

The £400+VAT was UK dealer list price which is easily beaten  :wink:

My adapter parts are due in on Wednesday and the taillights early next week.

I will also have a repeatable / mini group buy price in the next couple of days and will be able to assemble the connectors as well if people are interested.

have had a email back from volkswagen uk stating that the uk golf gti will NOT be getting LED rear lights

It came standard with the car.. I'm not sure if they are lighter than the R lights as I have nothing to compare it to (No Golf R available here yet)

Looks good though, not too dark on a black car.  Any darker and the lights might get lost.
