Golf Gti is getting LED back lights

Anyone notice the new polos rear lights look a similar light patern shape to the LED golfs but use normal bulbs so look  made me go off the led golf ones abit been behind a polo last night in traffic.


Anyone priced the LED rear RHD lights off the R yet in the UK?

Yep list is £400 + VAT (Outer lights are £102, inner £98 each)

So we can order the R LED's ? They will fit onto the GTI ?

Yes but the wiring/connectors are different. I have a set on order and am working on a set of adapters for the wiring

It might just be the lighting, but they look less tinted than the standard GTI lamps.

I have been looking at loads of photos of them fitted to many different mk6 cars today on a German forum and all of the GTI LED ones (rather than the R ones) look lighter than the standard GTI 'bulb' lights

They do look fantastic, so the difference between the optional GTI ones and the Golf R ones is not just the tint, but also the connectors are different?

I would expect as they are a factory option that the rear light wiring harness is the same as the R's if the LED rears are added.

Strange,

The led lights posted page 14 are from "Eagle Eyes" wich is a tawainese automotive constructor/dealer
We can see it from the inside picture

Now, they look exactly the same than the "dectane" ones

So I am not too sure if "Dectane" uses actualy "Eagle Eyes" products and commercialise these under its own name
