I'd be in as long as it was all done and proven it would work on UK spec cars.

Thanks for the code, Snoopy. I have no idea what it means, but hopefully my dealer will know what to do. They are quoting me €600 just for the 4 rear untis, so I think I'll try my luck on ebay.de where there are now quite a few sets up for sale. Dealer said he wasn't sure if he'd be able to do the programming, but I am a man of faith :smiley:

Are there RHD/LHD issues in doing this conversion?  Where are the fog light and reverse light on the LEDs?  Is it the same set up on both LHD and RHD or are they swapped like on the MK5?

Not if you use RHD Golf R lamps:

Left Outer 5K0 945 095L
Left Inner 5K0 945 093P

Right Outer 5K0 945 096L
Right Inner 5K0 945 094P

As per the picture of the R LED's on page 15 of this thread, they do look good lit up, wondering if anyone has a pic of these in daylight ? I just hope they will look ok on a GTI.

Was coming home last night up an unlit part of the motorway.
From a distance I thought there was an R in front of me with the LED lights.
As I got closer I could see the VW badge but couldn't work out what it was then seen it from the side it was a new Polo.
I don't think they were LED but looked all right.
