Whats a hazard triangle ?

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

Rolfe that is some deal that you got, any chance you'll let me know the dealers name?

All I'm trying to establish is whether VW are swamped or simply that I have a issue with my dealer.

when i picked my car up earlier this month, after waiting 17.5 weeks for it, my dealer said good job you didn't order now as the wait would be even longer because of high order volumes etc etc.  so you may be waiting longer than others.  keep hassling your dealer though, he will get sick of it and will try to push the order through quicker.

Crikey!  I picked mine up on 17th September having waited 10 weeks.  And it would have been nearer 9 if I hadn't gone on holiday just at the crucial moment.

And I got £2,000 discount over and above the £2,000 scrappage deal.

5-door
Pearlescent paint job
DSG
ACC
Sunroof
Winter pack
Luxury pack
Flat tyre indicator (well, it was cheap....)

I'll tell you who my dealer was if you like....

Rolfe.

ordered my gof gti on aug 24 and it arrived 7 th sept, 2 weeks.  would of been earlier but i was busy and also the fact i changed to 18 inches mid way through.  this was a instinct buy, i had not thought of getting one as it was the business car.  was thinkin of getting some estate but i made a good choice.  super fast order.  only etxra was the metallic paint and 18 inch alloys.

can't believ you all waited that long.  depends on what you added to a standard model i guess.  its not worth getting the extras as you dont recuperate them when you sell.  although the standard stereo is shocking!   i only get black as colour matters when you sell, blacks, silverare more desireable and should value more than say a red one.

this is my work car so i didnt bother with leather, etc.........

And somebody finally figured it's more dangerous to walk 50 yards back against the traffic to place it, than to stay where you are and get the hell off the carriageway.

Rolfe that is some deal that you got, any chance you'll let me know the dealers name?

It's no secret.  Verve of Wishaw (well, Bogside, it's two or three miles out of Wishaw).  Used to be Ian Skelly's, when I was a sprog.

Ask for Graeme Alexander.  Did me a very nice deal indeed, and the car was bang on time, no messing.
