wheel arch sub box advice
« on: 25 August 2009, 20:09 »
i am looking to tidy up my install and was wondering what size sub would be best for the wheel arch box i plan to build would be?..
i know a 15 would be rediculous but theyre nice on the lows..
im stuck in choice between a 12" and a 10" really.. i have had a twin 10" bandpass for the past 6 months and it kicks nicely but its not very practical when going shopping or putting the pram in the boot  :undecided: ....
i already have a couple of 10" subs to play with but i have usually been happy with 12s in the past and my taste of music is changing too.. im not really into the clubby type of music anymore and like more of the indie type of stuff if you get me?.
will a 12 be too big for this type of box or do you think i would be better off sticking with a 10?.

I'll be honest i've got a new 12" powerplant in a sealed box i'm not using. You can have a listen to it see how it sounds if you want.

See if you like it!

I live in abingdon, but could travel for 20mins or so.

£40 & it's yours with box.

It's in a sealed 1.25cu ft box made from 18mm mdf, screwed & pu glued.

I had 2 of these running off 1.5k and the wanged.

Not this one obviously.
