Turbo internal cleaning - Reply needed ASAP!

hi folks,

just out cleaning my egr/intake manifold at present (man there was a lot of crap in there!) and i'm looking at my turbo intake and seeing all the gunk and s**t in there - can I pour anything down inside to clean it or any other methods? Or should i just leave it be...?

just wipe out what you can reach.. don't go pouring stuff in it

Carb Cleaner probably, and a cloth will do just fine, as topher says.

Ideally you want to remove it and clean it properly.

okay removing is no problem, what can i do to clean it once it's off?

Carb cleaner, 'gunk' from halfords.. thinners, petrol.. whatever. Just make sure its clean and dry before you put it back on. That is assuming you're taking just the intake pipe off to clean, and not the whole turbo

oh no see i'd like to clean to whole turbo, if not possible, no worries, just need to know asap before i put the intake manifold back on

Use carb cleaner and a lint free cloth, just clean the gunk out.
