well i've learned three things on this page:

1) get a mk3 weighted shifter
2) get vdo's
3) get oilcooler

Looks very nice!

I'm also a student on a budget

Thanks - doesn't hold a candle against yours though!

 are you fixing it

Yes I'm going to fix it but unsure how just of yet. I so NEARLY secured an Ibiza with an ABF yesterday  :lipsrsealed:

ABF conversion sounds like a plan.

By the end of the week the Golf will officially be off of the road. Knowing that I won't be able to drive it for the foreseeable future (probably at least a year) absolutely sucks.

However, silver lining and all that, a donor has been sourced

Picking it up Friday.

Cheers. Just means I have to hang up the keys to my nice mk2 for a yellow chav chariot. It'll be worth it in the end.

I hope so Nick. But it is bright bloody yellow with white wheels

Cheers Wayne. It's a bit long in the tooth but has a massive wedge of receipts and a FSH. Getting it this afternoon.

Well it certainly goes well but my god it handles badly  :lipsrsealed:

Should be fun when it's in the mk2.

  • If I can't fix it at home, it ain't getting fixed.
Not often you get to drive about in a donor car!...

Shame you have to hang up the m2 keys for a while, know that feeling....  good luck with it all.
