Nope, shes got more than enough poke. I'm a strong believer that there is only so much power you can throw through the front wheels of a car and I think I'm almost there. The MK5 chassis is good, but I cant get my head around people that run 300+ on standard stuff without the need to then add MORE money on suspension and anti-roll bar and bigger brakes, it can easily turn into A LOT of money. My engine will remain how it is now as I think its prefect for me
Next is new wheels and tyres which requires lots more saving
lol
You seriously need to take my car for a spin Alan
300+ bhp is easily containable. I've just taken my neighbour and a mate out for the first time in mine and they simply were staggered at how fast it accellerates, brakes, turns etc and how easily it did it.
Yes, yes, I know I've spent a fair bit on it, but like you say, a tuned car needs balance between power, handling and braking modifications.
You kinda made the point I was going to say in your own post. You have done QUITE

a bit more than just given it 300+ haven't you, you cheeky monkey you

Especially living where I live you cant put your foot down for more than 100m before you hit a traffic jam / set of lights / Micra driver / someone crossing the road / old bill / SOMETHING will force you to slow down so lol

But on the odd occasion I get to have fun she NEVER disappoints

I can only imagine how much more fun yours is but I just don't have enough disposable income to spend LOADS on her ( adding that CF front grille wasn't my finest hour financially lol) but dont get me wrong, I think shes perfect for me, I think Im in love :embarassed:
I want to wait until my tyres have worn down a bit, no point wasting money for the sake of it!
Mine are running low, I can actually feel a lack of grip comapred to earlier on in the year and the wheels spin up MUCH easier than they used to, I think Iv'e got a few more months left in them and then its 18 time

(Toph has put me in a dilemma though, you know what you've done that man . . . .)
