Yea been thinking the same! As the plugs are clean its not overfueling so must be either the CAT or lambda.

Yea I'm gonna read that info Paul gave again then go get some CAT cleaner!
Then a few blasts on M4 and A419! :evil: :laugh:

sort the vac pipes if in any dought  and give it a good italian tune up.   the abf in my mk2 got that treatment  and ti managed better on the emission test without a cat
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

See other tread on Hunting/Idle!

My guess is either something has just broke or by replacing the vac pies it has shown up something else that wasnt working! A sensor maybe

Well the other problem is solved, but still got same emissions readings!

Did the cataclean stuff and gave it a good rant and took it to a mate of a mates place and stuck it on the tester and got exactly the same readings!

So consensus now is its the CAT!

Advised to change crankcase breather and check Dizzy cap and rotor again as there is a slight hesitation and will check test again before I buy a CAT!
