pretty certain the fusebox is on the driver side in the cupra, unless it a left hooker./ the plugs are the same fusebox end, just have to rip the lighting loom out of it basically. the way i make these is to get the ecu plug, unwrap the loom then put asside everything that isnt plugged into it or isnt obviously for engine (i.e. oil pressure sensors, dash temp gauge etc)
tip for you, while youre unwrappin the loom, put a pit of tape every 2 foot or so, so the loom retains the shape roughly. otherwise it takes some headscratching to get it back together neatly!
once you have everything you think needs chopping seperate from main loom, confirm each wire from the fusebox faq then chop em out. Best to have a mk2 engine loom to hand so you can see exactly what bits you need to keep, or even replace the ABF bits that differ with bits from the MK2 loom.
