Really sorry but a quick VAGCOM Question!

Hello

Was just wondering, the cheap cables and software on Ebay, do they just work if you install on laptop or do you have to purchase the license as well?  Sorry if a stupid question but was just a little confused!

They work but you only have limited functions, you can run a fault scan and log basic information  :smiley:

Ok cool thanks, just wondered as I bought one, just been trying it but just says no comunication!  Will keep playing then!

You got to go into options and run a test in the different coms until one of them works, if your not already doing so  :undecided:

When I got mine it come with a load of instructions on how to get the lead to work with the pc. Ill dig it out see if its any good to you
