V12 AMP NO POWER HELP!!!!

Ive been wiring my amp all bloody day very neatly, however cant get no power! ie no green light! See this link where ive hosted the pics(only from mobile im afraid)
im sure iv done it correctly! please help, i have tried nearly all combi's of wireing, output input etc!

please please help!!!!

Its all better now very shiny, but now the windows have gone again! and shocks are squeaking like mice!!aarrgghhh

Use a voltmeter and check you have 12v between the positive and earth terminals, and 12v between the remote on terminal and earth when the stereo is switched on. If you have these, then your amp is knackered.

I was being a wolly then, i never put the fuse in the power cable????? doh!
BUT now im blown 3 25a fuses on the amp every time i connect the ground wire??

why???

You must be drawing too much current.
Try and connect the eart before you put the fuse in. If it still blows then maybe you have a short in the amp. Try a continuity check between the positive and earth terminals whith the wire removed. If you have continuity then your positive supply is being sent straight to earth when you connect it, this will blow your fuse.

how do a continuity check?? the fuse in the power cable is 30a an the amp 25a ive tried to connect the wire then the fuse an it still blew! ???

It sounds like the amp may be shorting out internally. You need to use a meter to test the resistance between the positive (red) terminal and negative (black/brown) terminal. I think you will find that you have very little resistance between these, and this is causing the fuse to blow as you are probably putting the live feed to earth.

pos an neg on the battery? Is there any way out of this? if what you say is correct what can be done to alter it?

Not the battery - the terminals on the Amp. I suspect you have a problem with it. If you do, then you may need to have it fixed properly if you are not familiar with electronics.

Well, il hav to look into getting it looked at, is it really worth the bother though? would it be cheaper to get new one? its all wired up an positioned, i just need a working amp an im away! 8)

its so bloody annoying though why does nothing go back exactly how it was! an ive got two extra screws left?
