Ahh yes sorry mate, only way I could think of describing you sorry!

Hope you sort the boost leak out mate, should get good results when its done!

I think I may have a dodgy MAF or n75 but not sure. Will speak to Nick soon and see if he thinks the MAF is a suspect..

Can't belive how chatty the car is  gonna wash it down tomorrow

Sam

P.S  I've got a few photo's but missed a load of run's when they were dismantling my ECU  will upload in a minute.

My pics are in the thread below :) My batteries died though! I'm not sure where it could be losing boost from but I'll have a search around

I predicted 225bhp and got 221 so not bad considering the amount of mod's i've done to throw a few variables in there. Got a flat spot
in the mid range too which need's ironing out!

Mine ran at 185bhp 209lb-ft due to a boost issue between 3-4k rpm.
Going to take it back at some point for Nick to look at and try and find those ponies!!!

How'd it drive on the way home dubcruiser?

Dd you nail it anywhere? I've got a flatspot in between 3.5k and 4.5k which after more reading up i'm putting it down too a dodgy MAF, maybe similar prob to your's?

It drives fine on the road. Can't feel a flat spot but it is obviously killing the boost.
I checked all the hoses today, put my old (standard) diverter valve back on and cleaned out the air filter and air box which were shockingly dirty and it pulls like a train now. I also cleaned the throttle body, but I am hoping it was the new diverter playing up. I will upgrade it to a Forge to be on the safe side. Would of like to of seen over 200bhp on the rollers and considering its a 180bhp anyway it should of been easy!!
Could be MAF or N75 playing up but will let Nick have a play with it and get it sorted properly

hmmmmm bit of a pattern emerging here. I'm wondering if 3.5-4.5 is where the engine peaks and just at this point the MAF isn't able to cope?

There have been various threads on ukmkivs.net where peopl have experienced similar faults and a new MAF has cured it.. Failing that it's n75 valve or boost leak but i would have thought you would notice it over more of the rev range if it were a boost leak personally especially seeing as we all seem to suffer the same issue, bit to co-incidental to all have a leak with the same result IMO
